Note from Monica
Practical Software Maintenance As the autumn leaves fall and the weather chills, we anticipate the coming winter months – perhaps with apprehension. As part of our autumn routines, we make sure that our cars are in proper working order: fresh oil and filter, good tires, adequate wiper fluid… A solid maintenance program helps ensure that we will travel safely “from here to there” when the snow begins to fly.
Similarly, software maintenance plans help us keep our reporting tools in top condition. As we hunker down to do our financial budgeting for the coming year, a review of our financial software work flow should be part of our planning. Perhaps your staff has new duties and need training. Perhaps some of those extraneous spreadsheets can be streamlined into your software.
The new year will be here before we know it. Make sure your business is ready to weather whatever 2010 brings us by including a little practical software maintenance in your year-end planning. Here’s to your success! -Monica B. GlennyQuickBooks Enterprise 10.0
