Note from Monica
Which camp do you prefer – the glass is half full or the glass is half empty?
Personally, I’m a “half full” camper.  Preferring to look at the positive side of life, I’m finding it encouraging to hear recent news items predicting an end to the recession in late 2009 or early 2010.
We were a little curious about what other professionals thought and did a little (unscientific) survey of our own.  Here’s what we found:

·         Almost 60% of our participants believe the recession will end by Quarter 1, 2010
·         The younger crowd (ages 25-34) are more optimistic with more than 70% believing in a recovery by Quarter 1, 2010
·         The older crowd (ages 55+) is a little more cautious with only about one-third of that age group optimistic for a recovery by the same time frame.

So…where do you stand?
We hope you find this newsletter issue helpful!
