Summer Picnic
Nothing says "summer" like a picnic: warm weather, good food, quality time in the great outdoors with the people you love... yeah picnics are the quintessential summer activity. Unfortunately there is another kind of picnic that isn't as fun- the kind of picnics that happen in offices and cubicles all around the world- some refer to it as "user error" but we prefer to call it "PICNIC" (Problem In Chair, Not In Computer). It's something we're all guilty of because even the most "User-Friendly" software can be complicated at times. There are a lot of different causes to PICNICs - people are trying to multitask, in a hurry, they're in your seat but their mind is on vacation, or maybe they're just not that familiar with the software... whatever the cause is, if a PICNIC has happened to you, you're not alone. So what's the best way to fight them? Make sure that you keep up with the software training and maintenance.

The Basic Accounting Equation kicks assets
In our quest to help you run your business better, Datacraft has another installment of our accounting basics.
This time around we're going to focus on the "Basic Accounting Equation". It's a simple equation that is easy to use and important to understand
Here's what it looks like...

Ask the Bean Counter
Q: Are their ways I can improve my accounting software's performance to be a little faster, a little more efficient, or a little more functional?
A: Here are four things you can review that may improve your software's performance:
Integrate modules
Install or activate Crystal Reports
Customize data-entry screens
Run file maintenance periodically
... to find out how these improve your software's performance, visit the Bean Counter

Just a thought...
